A “Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution” will be created in Uzbekistan
In Uzbekistanwill be created"Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution." On its basis, a regulatory mechanism will be formed for the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions at industrial enterprises, such as robotics, the Internet of things and smart factories. The President of Uzbekistan stated this in his address to the Oliy Majlis and the people.
At the same time, enterprises will have the opportunity to test new technologies before introducing them into the production process.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance is implementing a separate project to increase labor productivity and energy efficiency.
As part of this project, it is planned to attract $200 million in loans and grants from international financial institutions, invite highly qualified technologists and engineers from abroad for industrial enterprises, digitalize business processes, conduct audits to reduce energy consumption and other expenses, and ensure the transfer of advanced technologies.
The economy is projected to grow 6.6% next year, raising gross domestic product to $167 billion.
