$100 million will be allocated for the implementation of artificial intelligence at enterprises in Uzbekistan

The “Artificial Intelligence Partner for 10 Thousand Enterprises” program is starting in Uzbekistan, under which the state compensates businesses for 50% of the costs of implementing digital solutions. At least $100 million is allocated for the implementation of the first stage of the project.

About this on August 18reportedPresident Shavkat Mirziyoyev at an open dialogue with entrepreneurs in the Khorezm region.

The need for digitalization is confirmed by analytics - after the transition to modern management methods and artificial intelligence technologies, 54% of companies recorded a sharp increase in demand for their products, 25% reduced costs, and 40% of enterprises raised employee salaries by more than 10% due to income growth.

To support business, the country launched the first supercomputer cluster based on the Digital Government Project Management Center, the capacity of which will triple next year. Entrepreneurs will receive free access to a supercomputer to develop their own models for new products, and the costs of research and development work will be financed by the budget.

All ready-made digital algorithms and business solutions will be placed on a single open platform. The successful experience of digitalization is planned to be scaled up to the electrical, food and construction materials industries - the state subsidizes half of the costs of automation for enterprises in these areas.

Previouslyreportedthat a unified business support system will be created in Uzbekistan - from opening a business to its reaching the level of large-scale production. At an open dialogue with entrepreneurs, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced new measures to facilitate lending, introduce artificial intelligence technologies and privatize state assets.
